Summerize Congratulations to the following for making the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Golf Team!!! The THSCA Academic All-State Teams recognize senior athletes who excel in the following categories: GPA, class rank, and ACT/SAT score. The Lady Chaps defeated Wilmer Hutchins to claim the Bi District Championship. Next week the Lady Chaps will take on Venus in the area round of the playoffs. Below is the schedule: Format.....2 out of 3 series Dates...Game 1 Wednesday May 1st 5:00pm, Game 2 - 30 minutes following game 1...Game 3 (if needed) Friday May 3rd 6pm. Location....All games will be played at Ranchview HS Gate fee: $5 adults / $3 students Passes accepted: TGCA, THSCA, District 10, District 11 Aubrey will be in the 3B Dugout and will be the home team for game 1

Incoming 6th Grade Band Members: Beginner Band Instrument Selection will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the AMS Cafeteria (back entrance). THREE-PEAT!!! REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!!! The Aubrey Chaparral Boys Track Team competed in the Region II 4-A Track and Field Championships at University of North Texas this weekend. Winning the Regional Championship! OUR Boys Track Team, the past three years has won: The District Championship, Area Championship AND Regional Championship 3 years in a ROW!!! Culminating with the State-Runner Up Plaque last year. Now on to the next step for our Track Team. On to STATE!!! We qualified in 6 events for the State Meet. Starting the day with a heartwarming story! Brockett PTO recently hosted a silent auction during their Bingo Night, with one of the auction items being "A Day with a Police Officer." The lucky winner was kindergarten student George Clark! Officer George spent the day alongside Aubrey ISD Officer Mike Hardin, assisting with securing doors and helping out with the car line. A huge thanks goes out to Officer Hardin for making George's day extra special. #InspiringChaps
