Jana Temple was elected to the Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees in May of 2021.

“I believe in quality education for current and future students, and I truly believe Aubrey excels at this, and I want to be a part of that excellence.”

Mrs. Temple and her husband, Shawn, are insurance agent brokers. They have four children that attend Aubrey ISD schools.

Mrs. Temple served on the Aubrey ISD Site Based Committee (2014-15) and was the vice president for the Brockett Elementary PTO for three years. She currently serves on the Aubrey Middle School PTO and is the Aubrey volleyball booster president, Aubrey basketball booster vice president and the Aubrey football booster secretary.

She graduated from Louisiana Baptist University with an elementary education degree and is currently working on her second bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology. She was a teacher for five years at Temple Christian Academy in Flower Mound. 

Mrs. Temple's current term on the board started in May of 2021 will expire in May of 2024.
